In addition to Implementation and Management services, Intracoastal Software Consulting, Inc. provides an integration package that implements Endevor using ISC methodology. This software suite provides powerful functions that augment Endevor. The new functions focus on the reduction of manual maintenance and enforcement of customer procedures. The need for these functions arises from common implementation extensions to Endevor that push Endevor beyond its base capability. These functions are very flexible; they can be customized to meet specific client requirements without changes to their source. Clients may choose to implement only certain functions now and turn on other features as needed.

Duplicate Type Check
Checks for elements with same name, but conflicting Type

Duplicate System Check
Checks for elements with same name and type in another System

Action Lock
Allows control of Endevor actions within certain Inventory locations

Archive Lock
Controls DSN for Archive actions within certain Inventory locations

Intelligent Delete Utility
Cleans up 'output elements' (load modules, etc.) when source moves

Intelligent Copy Utility
Copies 'output elements' when source moves, also re-blocks source and output elements on move

Parameter Utility
For use in processors, invokes a program while reading execution parameters from a file AND inserts 'flag messages' in sysout/output

Transport Utility
Converts any sequential file into a special, fixed format that facilitates operation over NJE, RJE, and TCP/IP connections

Started Task Facility
A productivity enhancement for the 'Lock' and 'Check' facilities. It allows 'real time update' of control parameters.

PDS Utility
Converts a PDS to a sequential file that can be edited within ISPF or on a PC. The file can be reloaded into a PDS when done.
Five different listings can be generated that give access to ISPF stats, Link-edit, SSI, and other statistics.

ISC Software is written in System/390 Assembler and uses Object technology for easy maintenance and extensibility. It has high performance and is parameter driven for easy administrative interaction.

Intracoastal Software Consulting, Inc. takes great pride in our desire and ability to assist with knowledge transfer. ISC personnel go to great lengths to pass on skills and knowledge to client personnel while working on various projects so that client staff members are fully capable of moving forward on their own after ISC is no longer connected to the project.

In addition to this knowledge transfer, ISC also provides the following On-site and/or Off-site training and certification. Our hands-on training courses can be adapted to your specific environment.
